I posted this on my whiteboard, but I am copying it here, in case you don't see it there. Bungee, you should check with the cashier first. At the SA I usually fill up at, I print the receipt at the gas pump, then bring it inside with the coupon, They then give me cash for the amount of the coupon discount, doubled on Tuesdays. So, if I have a 10 cent/gallon coupon and I buy 20 gallons, they give me $4.00 cash after doubling it. I tried this at a different SA once, and the cashier said she couldn't do that. I told her I always do that at another SA. Then she decided she could, The SA Rewards and SA fuel card discounts are applied to the pump price after you scan those cards. When they started giving those discounts, they left the discounted price per gallon displayed on the pump after you completed your purchase. Now they reset it to the normal price after you complete your purchase. I suspect they had some people asking why the price went up when they inserted their credit card.
