Who needs to waste gas driving 0 to 60 in less than 4 seconds? This is a vehicle for a die hard corvette fan, someone with too much money, or someone traying to re-live their youth.

Good God...grow up all you 55 year old teenagers.Just because you've got $80K burning a hole in your pocket it doesn't mean you need to do 0-60 in 4 seconds.

For those that think they can't afford a Vette, a story from the past. 2004 was the last year of the C5 model and in about April I made a deal for a June (last month of production) delivery at $11k off sticker. The C7 will get here at some point and dealers will be trying to move the last of the C6 production since they get allocations of future Vettes based on their past year's sales. That would equate to very low $40's for a stock coupe at this point. For 430HP, nice deal.

From the Kelley BB site, for those that want to know: 6.2-liter V8 430 horsepower @ 5,900 rpm (436 with optional exhaust) 424 lb-ft of torque @ 4.600 rpm (428 with optional exhaust) EPA city/highway fuel economy: 16/26 (manual), 15/25 (automatic)
7.0-liter V8 505 horsepower @ 6,300 rpm 470 lb-ft of torque @ 4,800 rpm EPA city/highway fuel economy: 15/24
6.2-liter supercharged V8 638 horsepower @ 6,500 rpm 604 lb-ft of torque @ 3,800 rpm EPA city/highway fuel economy: 14/21
So, since my '02 had sticker mpg of 19/28 and these are supposed to be more realistic, and I get 20 around town and 28+ up to 30 on the road, I'm guessing 25 for the Z06 isn't out of the question if you drive it nice! :)

I loved my 1969 427 Corvette...I can only imagine how cool this ride will be. But it needs side exhaust for the throaty rumble of a Big Block!

The only "green" part of this ride would be leaving it parked in your garage.

This is remarkably like a Playboy Centerfold....
It's a thing of beauty... It's out of my class.... I couldn't afford the upkeep... At my age it would probably hurt me....
But OMG would I love to give it a whirl just once....
